Stephen Gaetz
President & CEO
Stephen Gaetz of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is CEO of Shine Co., which owns and operates Shine Factory Systems.
Stephen has expertise in the automotive industry having been a General Sales Manager of a Car Dealership from 1975 – 1980 and then going on to own and operate his own Car Dealership from 1981 – 1991. During this time he also owned and operated his own Shine Factory franchise from 1986 – 1991, this being his first taste of Shine Factory Systems.
Upon selling the Car Dealership and related businesses Stephen then moved to another province to become closer to family, opened yet another Shine Factory in 1991 and founded a communications business in that same year, building the business to 13 stores strong and acquiring 48,000 customers. He sold his shares in the communications business in 1998. During this time Stephen became operations manager for Shine Factory Systems in Eastern Canada starting in 1994 up to 2006. In 2001 Stephen bought another Shine Factory Franchise in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia which he owned and operated until he sold it in 2006. At that point Stephen purchased Shine Factory Systems and the Shine Factory trade mark.
